To cancel an order, please submit a Support Form with “Cancel/Change Order” as reason for inquiry. Simple and effective little stirrer

I like this machine. I don't use it in a lab. I use it to stir milk while converting it into kefir, and mix other light solutions in the kitchen. The base has a strong magnet in the middle which pulls the stirrer rod to the center once you get it close. You can only center it when the speed is set to 0 or the unit is turned off. I recommend using a container with a thin bottom to keep the magnetic pull strong. If you're stirring a lot of liquid, a thicker liquid, turn the speed up too high too fast, or use a container with a really thick bottom, the magnetic stirring rod can get decoupled from the drive. But that's a very easy fix. After that just turn the speed dial back to 0. The stirrer will automatically center. Then turn the speed up SLOWLY until you get the action you need. Don't flip out and peg the dial to instant results, because it will misalign the stirrer. I've have no problems with it, and am happy with it so far. I would buy again.
Update: I bought this in October 2023. I use this almost every day to stir vitamin C powder into water, and also to stir powdered maca root into solution. It's like the Terminator. It doesn't stop.

Amazing bargain

These are powerful little stir plates. Highly recommended if you only need stirring. it is very portable. I’ve gotten ones that don’t work; if that happens, just send them back. They’re worth it in the end.
