I've had it now for almost six month. I have had no issues and I am pleased with it. I use mine to stir up my crushed pills in order to put through my stomach tube. (I love being able to put the meds in water, put on the stirrer and walk away) The ONLY drawback is the surface which scratches very easily. You must use a soft cloth and gentle cleaner if you care anything about the way it looks. I made the fatal mistake of using a soft scrub pad on mine and it really did a number on the polished surface. So just be careful. I love it that the machine is so quite. It make 0 noise when running. For what I use it for, it works perfectly.

I can't believe how inexpensive this is. I avoided buying a standalone magnetic stirrer because they used to be so expensive. It was more economical to just buy a cheap hotplate/magnetic stirrer combo. But this one is cheaper than the ones I made myself. Despite being cheap, it works great. It's very nicely balanced and is incredibly quiet, even at full RPM. The internal magnet is powerful and works well with small, medium, and large stir bars. The speed control has a good gradient and I like how the power indicator LED dims and brightens depending on the selected speed. It's compact and seems sturdy enough.
