Vacuum drying ovens are made up of stainless steel that can bear the high vacuum pressure without any kind of deformation. They are divided into hollow trays which increases the surface area for heat conduction. The materials to be dried are kept on the trays inside the vacuum dryer and pressure is reduced by means of vacuum pump. The dryer door is tightly shut and steam is passed through the space between trays and jacket so that the heat transfer occurs by conduction.

Lab1st’s drying ovens are built with polished stainless steel interior, removable racks, overheat protection, inert gas inlet, temp calibration, timing and other functions. All ovens are CE compliant.

Q1: What are the materials of the drying box outer shell and inner wall? What material is the pallet made of?
A1: The outer shell of the drying box is made of cold-rolled plate (steel plate) + spray paint; the inner wall is made of SUS304, with an aluminum tray as standard and a stainless steel tray as an option;

Q2: Can the volume of the vacuum drying oven be customized?
A2: Yes, it can be.

Q3: Can EV-5 be used with VO-02 vacuum pump?
A3: Yes, the volume of VO-02 is about 56L, and the pumping volume of EV-5 is 2L/s, so it can be used.

Q4: How long does it take to dry a batch of 10/15kg of spices or other spices with VO-02?
A4: It takes an hour and a half to remove most of the water

Q5: VO-02 Vacuum Oven: Can it dry flowers, spices, fruits, etc... for food use?
A5: Yes, each board of VO-02 can hold up to 2KG; it can dry about 10KG at a time.
